Yes Indians in Hyderabad as well as a lot of tech folks in San Leandro, San Francisco, and Chandler are getting let go. Apparently, the consensus in Sr. Mgmt is that there are no Tech skills in the Western states so they need to focus on hiring Tech skills in the Eastern states.
@aw Yes and the open slots aren’t necessarily the same level or role. Eg. P4s laid off but hiring a p5. Like lead vs principal.

As a manager, there’s always someone willing to go lower when it comes to the lowest (pay). Some IT areas are forced to hire less expensive labor once the longtime folks are forced off the books.

Charlie scharfs only talent is laying off employees. I cannot fathom being an advisor and morally justifying exposing my clients to this firm that has damaged so many. Shame on anyone twho has exposed clients to that risk.
