They expect total dedication but turn around and cut experienced people first when budgets get tight. The message is clear: loyalty only goes one way. At some point, you realize you’re just another line item to them.

Why the heck is Flavio still employed? Why is his toxic nature allowed to permeate the culture without any intervention. He is just terrible.
Medtronic leaders do not want to pay people with valuable experience. They would rather send jobs to India and pay the consequences of poor quality products.

It's so unfortunate it's still going on. When I was one of the first in the wave to follow of cuts back in 2023 it just really seemed like they didn't value employees at all. Having us go back into office was terrible as we had shown so much increased productivity WFH & when going into office even on a hybrid schedule they kept pulling us off of the computers to do "team building" which was pointless & taking us away from the work with our customers. They seem to focus on the 3rd party workers & want to phase out the actual medtronic employees. Sad.
