With change health AI system they no longer need quality here so the ENTIRE Quality team was given two weeks notice. Wake up people! This place doesn't care about any loyalty.... Aetna, Cigna, BCBS look better then this he!! h0le! Heck it's time to start our own discount coupon book for health care.... that's what this is.

whats a quality team?
Quality team for which org? How many people?
We are focused on feelings, and perceived value now. Our priorities have shifted to diversity, score sheets from participants and doing good things, while our profits and stock price continues to increase. Quality generally only serves to find errors with current processes. Innovation doesn't come from auditing. Did I say enough phrases to sound like a good corporate robot?
Quality has been slowly losing importance at this company. I noticed it 5 years ago when they started saying things like quality is everyone's responsibility. Don't worry after we get sued again for the 10000th time, they will spin up a quality team over night to show that we care.
Change Healthcare has developed some totally awesome and ki---r AI tools that quickly do high level repetitive tasks. Called IPA (independent process automation) it is scary in its accuracy and efficiency and easily replaces many Ho-o sapiens without getting sick, taking care of family, or generating drama, etc.
Keep an eye on this - IPA (though also some good brews) also has the potential of 86ing us from the company. If your job is repetitive and can be defined into easy steps, take a soul searching inventory and ask yourself realistically what your chance of survival really is and act accordingly. If you conclude your at risk, maybe grab a (tasty) IPA as you ponder your own career next steps.
We are already losing many of our talented people with estimates of a 50 percent attrition in the next year, not unlike many other big companies. Best guess is this will continue at a higher rate as the talented workers more clearly see the obvious writing on the wall.
I am very sorry to hear about the Quality team. I have seen layoffs coming and recently found new employment. Pay attention to the emails from upper management if there is anyone left. A VP came into ECS and told us in 2019 he wanted Optum to be like Amazon and Google. They want robots and automaton over quality. That VP was let go last week by the way
