RTO = Pre-Covid??

In what world is this RTO mandate taking us back to pre-COVID??

I have over 20 years in 3 geographic regions and have NEVER been forced to sit in an office for a certain # of hours so our leaders can stroke themselves with power. I can promise my average work hours per day have been 10+ hours but the flexibility to care for my family -- especially after my spouse died was critical. Now it's not sustainable.

RTO is SOLID proof covid was BS.. in the San Ramon office every day it sounds like the sick ward in a third world TB infested S*** hole country.. EVERONE fricking comes in hacking sniffling coughing, I've gotten sick from these cretins more times in the last 2 years than 20+ years in the past. Its dirty and disgusting in San Ramon, and the desk share thing, you can't get more germs than moving around from desk to desk daily and yet seeing crumbs and stains from whoever sat there the previous day..

ATT we care.. get the vax, 6foot distance, wear mask, don't come in sick.. all bullsh-ttt

“ Dead weight”

Yes you are. However, not nearly as “heavy” as the dark triaders in the C suite or superfluous layers of “VP’s” (aka fiefdom lords).

"It's been 2 years since it was announced. What result has your whining produced? No one wants to hear it."

Or you can STFU and scroll on by. The OP brings up legitimate points that exposes the lies of the C-suite.

"is this RTO mandate taking us back to pre-COVID??"

In 2019, they were making a lot of noise about ending remote work, which got derailed by Covid-19. There were positions back then that they wanted to move to in-office work.

You are in a different station of life. Time to move elsewhere.

How the heck do you know what stage of life this man is in? It sounds like he hustled 10 plus hrs a day and could work circles around you.......

"I have heard people admit they never work 8 hours a day."

‘It's discussed often on these very boards.’

Much of that talk is hot air.

I have heard people admit they never work 8 hours a day. That is mind boggling to me.”

You don’t punish the entire workforce for few bad apples.

Does the 10+ hours include golfing?
