just think how many MILLIONS they could save by offshoring L4 and up...
At the very least, write your Congressman and Senators. Foreign nationals working in the communications network is a national security threat.
Rumor has it work for several legacy ticketing services is all going to India?
I am sooo happy this came up! I was recently talking to my coworker about this! We were thinking to lobby Washington about this, to have them RESTRICT the fact that they allow network propriety info and access to be used OVERSEAS with network and database info! I believe the company KNOWS they are flagrant, they just will continue until restricted by the government!
This is why I don’t contribute to the ATT PAC. Why? So they can lobby for more offshoring and visa’s?
This isn’t a racial issue, this is about keeping good paying jobs here in the US and for US citizens. That helps everyone in our country, regardless of race. We need to end this practice and I don’t care where they send the work. All parties and all average Joe’s and Jane’s should be against this. It reduces jobs here and lowers wages for everyone.
AT&T is an American company (says so in the name). We provide critical communications to the United States. Some of that information can be used, hacked, or tapped to assist foreign nations through espionage or cyber attacking and shutting down communications. We have PLEs required for that reason. Some of our groups handle sensitive and even secret information. Ever wonder why you can’t take your devices or laptops out of the country? That’s why. So how is our govt and executives for that matter allowing foreign countries and foreign nationals have access to our systems?
Yes! 100%
what is the best....is torch the company. Break everything that can be broken. If they give jobs to non people from europe.............torch it! torch it! torch their mothes...their daughters...............torch it! no mercy....no patiencince........torch it!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't train your replacement! They keep asking for help in the programming collaboration channels. Don't help them.
Two words
Cheap labor
And also
They don't care.
Word up!
If they are saving so much money by doing this, they definitely shouldn’t receive any tax subsidies from the US. Write the White House and let them know that you don’t want your taxes subsidizing companies that move work overseas and layoff US citizens.
