Today majority of purchase services were let go. Next they will do their redesign according to their objectives. After that we will downsize by a lot. We have a lot of extra people who were once needed and are no longer needed.

The way my LL6 is freaked out, it has to be another round in 2-3 months. I think this round was just the warning shot - if employees leave in their own, great, F doesn’t have to spend a dime. If not, they have their lists updated with this round of cuts.
It's coming....
PS cost $150-$200k per year, but they only see part of that. You would be surprised what percentage agencies take. I’ve had PS people working for me for years and I’m always shocked at what their actual salary is vs what we are billed by the agency. I’ve had many contentious discussions with the agency when they ask for an increase on behalf of the employee and I just tell them to give it out of their cut.
Purchase service employees are still working at Ford. They are under the radar, not showing up in organization chart headcount. Each of them are making $150k to $200k per year at Ford. They are all need to be let go.
Do these cuts include Ford Credit and Ford Credit Customer service? Noticed a slow call volume this week. Has been very odd. Thought it might have something to do with the illegals being detained and sent back to wherever they came from because the majority of our calls are from foreign customers. We also have the call center in Mexico. I think most of the calls are routed there first as the majority of what the U. S reps have gotten lately are escalated and assistance calls sent from the Mexico reps. Just saying.
