@c7+1jvr38kv2 - in PA its $605, but u have to exhaust all the severance.
it's nice that CA residence can get unemployment while on severance but it isn't a huge windfall. the max someone can qualify for is $450 per week which you can get for up to 26 weeks so a total potential benefit of $11.7K. I won't say no to it but it isn't much especially in the bay area.
CA allows unemployment during severance, that’s a big help. Most other states count severance as income, so you can’t collect both at the same time.
