@pe thanks, cut in half really? They must have been on massive base then... So analysts make a higher base than traders now, because bonuses are only for traders?

Guessing these answers are from the US. The true answer is definitely higher than some of the answers suggest: at least CL28 (possibly even CL29?). When you’re recruited they assume you have mid (or just below mid) performance.
@pd+1jvrz2nsv American salaries are far too high, some is driven by your greedy cost of living, but fundamentally the US is uncompetitive globally.
The best trading people will go to higher CL trading roles (if they can pass the "trader development program which is modeled on Shell, BP and COP, and other trading companies trader development). Many new traders do not work out (lose money and their ranking suffers). Do not forget trader base pay was cut in half, so there is high risk of cutting your compensation if you shift to a trading role from the safe world of non-trading. But there is high chance of layoffs of non-traders and few roles over CL 28 for non-traders. Also in trading you are competing with many outside,experienced hires who were trained in real trading companies, so your competition is very tough.
A top quintile CL 28 with YEE of 15 earns about 300k in USD plus 300 sh RSU

The salaries are low in the UK. This is very likely a 28 level position. Your rank pool will be extremely competitive, making it really tough to get an RSU package.
Competing as an IC 28 is a losing battle.
Salaries are pretty low in Uk. CL 26 expect to be in the 80s. I would assume cl 28,

The pay bands are too wide to answer that question accurately. You should ask your manager. But if I had to guess, CL 26 or CL27.
