I returned back from my vacation today and the LL5 scheduled a meeting last night for this morning at 7:30 am.
I knew something was not right because its rare that a LL5 would schedule a meeting and it was non-forwardable.
Does anybody know if there will be a HR who will follow up on the next steps? When to handover the laptop and badge?
" LL5 said all instructions are in the package..." Then you follow the instructions that are in the package. Seems pretty simple to me. The time these were sent to you doesn't matter. Only after asking is a little annoying but nothing here is outrageous.

@OP, So if it’s not a troll post and you haven’t even met with your LL5, why are you posting on this board asking questions? Your LL5 will obviously provide you with instructions on what to do with your Ford owned (or leased) property. Maybe wait until you have your meeting before you post the next time you get laid off? 🤔
If you were separated and had RSU's that almost solidifies that you weren't released for performance. These are given as retention bonuses and unless things changed abruptly and you simply quit working, it would be strange for them to release someone they tried to incentivize to stay recently.

You will lose those RSU's. Now if they matured and then you were let go you might get them, but not if you leave before they mature.

Yeah, sure you were laid off and Ford didn’t provide instructions on how they would get their laptop back. Come on! Ford cares more about their leased laptop than you. They always provide instructions on how to get their stuff back.
Buddy, when I was let go there was no option to hand anything to anyone. I was emailed a barcode for FedEx to pack up and ship my company laptop back to Ford. They covered packaging and shipping.
The annoying thing was for the company phone they only covered shipping. I had to bring a darn box and bubble wrap.
