Thread regarding Walgreens layoffs

District Manager Layoffs

Layoffs happened today. Sounds like about one DM per Area, but not all were impacted as some had already realigned on their own after losing DMs.

Atlanta. Based on seniority and evals. Anyone else's area?

One suddenly gone in central Florida.

'No value adds' who make a lot of money... look no further than Tim, Neal and friends. Getting rid of them serial bloodsuckers will do a world of good for Walgreens.

nope...they make three to five times what people in the stores make a year. So in one year they make what a person in the store need four to six years to make theirr one year pay. It has nothing to do with liking or disliking corporate. A lot of those DM'ers have made a lot over the years, if they haven't saved a lot on what they made...that is their problem. If they are good it wouldn't be hard to find another job either would it. Say it the way it is. Now they will realize how cushy they had it.

Whether they are needed or not they are still people who lost their jobs or now have to move to another area. I know everyone loathes corporate but we could still show compassion. The world is hard enough right now

Why not all of them..They have no added value to the company. Overpaid puppets, that live on a computer sending emails...and when they show up act like they are the almighty. When its them that take orders from people that have ruined this company. That is not hard knocks at all but true. A layer of managment that is not needed at all. When some of you find out what they are truly paid for what they do, then you will realize. They don't deserve any sadness at all.
