Thread regarding IBM layoffs

You all seem to be gullible and easily manipulated

IBM has this so called BCG that you all seem to ‘follow’ to the tee while executives laugh behind your back as none of them follow these so called guidelines.

I used to work at IBM 20 years ago until they laid me off. And you know what I did? I immediately informed one of the customers that i got laid off and one of them took me onboard. Back then IBM executives were pi---d that i broke the so called ‘BCG’, but did i care? Not a bit as i only looked out for myself.

So don't be so gullible to IBM’s brainwashing tactics. It’s almost as if you are all living under IBM’s regime and any ‘slightest’ deviation from BCG will result in immediate termination.

Man please dont be so gullible and easily manipulated. This is not how executives conduct business.

I did this in November 2024. I was immediately given a job with the client. Manager was pi---d and they tried to withhold my severance. One letter from my lawyer latter and I got a years worth of severance instead of 3 months. Always threaten to sue, always.

From the executives' point of view, IBM's Business Conduct Guidelines are "Rules for thee but not for me."
