If you did, you'd be out of here already. Due to the overall number of employees, even when we face a major round of layoffs the chance of any single one of us being impacted is slim. If you're saying you're staying because you're waiting for severance with such low odds, you're full of sh-t. No need to posture, people. We're all in this together.

With employees who have 20-30 or more years of service people are going to wait for the package they earned. If you don't understand the logic in that then you're probably not an employee. Packages look pretty decent.
Just be a diversity hire and you don’t have to worry
