Is Wilmington Delaware a hub? I didn't think it was but yet I see lots of people there seeming to have no concern about location strategy.

Unlikely it goes anywhere with Chase's presence in the city. And even if it does, Philly isn't that far away.
the term "hub" gets thrown around but means nothing.
There are a set of designated go-forward markets at the enterprise level. Delaware is one of those markets. LOBs decide which of the enterprise markets they will concentrate in 3 to 5 markets. Delaware is where there is a concentration of card players, so wf card will never leave there. other LOBs? don't know - decision is made at LOB level.
It’s a fake hub. The head of internal fraud works from home there, so a few execs make it a hub when it’s really not one. Complete hypocrisy here at WF. The head of fin crimes investigations works from home (and has for years) in Florida, all while they lay off remote people all over the country. Glad I am leaving this dumpster fire.
This is one of those fake hubs. As soon as the right exec leaves for greener pastures, Wilmington will wither away and close.
I know of one yes lady there who thinks she’s building value. She may even think she’s irreplaceable.
Specialty is just a euphemism for we’ll flush you later.
Not a hub, but a specialty for several LOBs.
