Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

The $2K R/S grant- specifics?

Didn’t see @ SEC.gov yet. Specifics would get into employees @ what date, minimum tenure, forfeiture if severed etc.

"Shouldn't they pay people who have been here more of the 7 years. They're paying people who just showed up a month ago the same as someone tortured for the last 7-9 years."

  1. who gets hired in US in last few months?
  2. shouldn't newcomers say anyone here in 2016 or sooner shouldn't get it since they were around when problem was?

Stumpf gave us the share award in our 401k, no vesting

@cx that has been true historically but every grant vintage can have unique terms, such as the new 30/60 days notice stuff for various officer levels they’re going on new grants.

are they going to give the folks they have laid off the 2K? I mean we helped the bank get out of this mess.

if you are laid off you any invested RSU grants continue to vest on the schedule they are on. If you quit you lose them, and for those with officer titles, any agreements after 6/1 will have claw back language if you quit without giving proper notice.

CS is so happy that he's getting his $20 million additional bonus this year that he's giving each of us one percent of one percent of the bonus he's getting. Provided you aren't laid off in the next 3 years, then won't see any of it.

if it was going to be an immediate vest then they would just give us cash. I personally don't care how we get it or what the terms are,.got plenty of RSUs already. I'm happy for folks where $2k will actually make a difference. a lot of whom are out front line workers who have had to put it with a lot these last few years.

I have suffered through the last 7 years and hope to be done in 18 months. I’m sure this “award” will not vest until I’m long gone.

Fully expect it will be subject to vesting. But if it’s recognition for sticking it out through hard work done in the past to hit a milestone… there should be immediate vesting.

@a6+. Give the money away if it’s such a pittance to you. Privileged a&&.

@a5 that’s where OP’s specifics matter, not that beggars can be choosers. If you’re goned against your will, they still might vest. $2k is a pittance, a coin in a tip jar, really, over four years. I’ll spend, sheesh, 4x that on cable during that time.

A lot of us will be gone in less than 4 years.

Last time and the only time that I received RSRs was in 2018 with a 3-year vestment period. 50 shares gross, but down to 37 for taxes.

Well, you could just wait for the email. But let's all waste time speculating.

probably a standard grant, they'll supply details in coming days, but likely a 4 year vesting schedule based on stock price as of today. if severed will continue to vest, if you quit you lose it.
