I don’t mind extra tasks, but throwing completely new responsibilities at me with zero training isn’t fair. I’m spending nights figuring things out alone, terrified of making a costly error. There’s got to be a better way to handle this.

Hr is giving training on how to avoid getting caught in age discrimation. I recommend bringing recorders to work and taping conversations and join a class action lawsuit

I hear ya brother. My time is coming soon. As long as things are interesting, I'm hanging around.
They did this with my job. Totally changed it and gave no training. When Friday came, I handed them my phone and laptop and retired. I didn't need the added stress. Best decision I made. :)
Being overworked is your decision not your manager. If your are in production and being told seven day weeks are mandatory get it in writing and identify your “unlimited vacation “ ahead.. always on days you can job hunt. Never work in ISC.. lowest pay , longest hours, least control.

More and more people leaving for poor health due to overwork, just heard that someone left recently for heart attack concerns and apparently another had a stroke triggered by stress. HR fully aware and protecting the toxic leaders.
I had similar experience, and I just told my manager I can't do it.

Yepo lets add more and more to the metric boards too and for what and what does it solve or help with. Now this new friggin goal center stuff needs be done also for what less than 3% raise even if you get all goals done. Oh dont get me start on the wasteful accelerator training that most dont pertain to our jobs.
