The documents refer to it, but the offboarding process is not in the exit packet for me. I want to return this stuff asap.

@ae+1jxffzhwe It's People Solutions. A hot mess. So, they provided every other doc for me except the offboarding equipment return doc.
@ax+1jxffzhwe Thank you. I did not have that document in my BOX folder, so I had no access to the link.
I didn't get that doc, thanks for the link
In the email that comes from People Solutions, you are given a link to a Box folder that contains all of the exit documents. One of those documents is called the NA Nike Tech/GPS Offboarding Guide. In that doc, in the Offboarding Checklist on page 1, the link to the portal is listed (https://go.nike.com/nikeoffboarding).
I thought it was really weird that we had to submit our own offboarding requests when the company laid us off, but when I went into the portal, it asked me how much stuff I was returning in order to make sure they sent enough boxes. That said, I told them that I was returning 2 laptops and all associated accessories... and they sent me exactly 1 box for 1 laptop. Typical Nike sc--wups and inefficiency right to the end. Fortunately, the reason I had 2 laptops is because my old one was dying and I had recently upgraded. Therefore, I still had the box it came in, along with all the packing material. Therefore, I stuffed both the old and new machines in the same box with everything else. (And I took pictures in case there was a dispute.)
In terms of driving the equipment to campus and returning it to a tech bar, I thought about doing that. However, I live about 30 miles from the campus and basically decided that the company could afford to ship this from my house versus me spending a couple hours in traffic for Nike one last time. Also, the tech bar has a history of sc--wing up equipment returns from what I've heard, so I decided to just follow procedure, even if it was flawed.
If you're in the area, can't you just drive to WHQ and return it to a tech bar?
I thought it said they ship a box, could be wrong...
Don't trust the return details from anonymous sources. It could be a scam. Someone will send you the details once things are sorted out
