Feels like a major storm is coming and we’re all just waiting for it to drop. My stress levels are through the roof, especially since I’ve been striking out trying to find something else, not even necessarily better pay, just something, and failing miserably.

@ab+1jxjm2dkj Staples did most of their store closures on their own before the buyout. They were already down to 1.2k stores when Sycamore took over and are at 933 now.
The quiet is about to stop. a lot about to happen. Many best look for jobs.

@OP it seems that Walgreens is basically treading water waiting for the buyout to happen. After that, who knows? A post in the previous thread summed up what they feel may happen after the Sycamore deal is done. I'm sure leadership does not want rattle the troops. Best of luck with the job search. Something better will turn up!
Sycamore closed half of Staples closed. So, you have a 50/50 chance that your store stays open.
