Smell and Dead Rats

At the Irving location in Dallas, the office workers have had to endure a foul smell for several days. The solution for Real Estate was to 'air' out the place by opening windows. Great. Isn't it hot outside? And this morning, they've cut the power while people are at work. Why? Because of rats! Yes, rats crawled into an electrical panel and died. Hence, the smell. Why doesn't the company send these poor workers home until the issues are resolved? Why are people expected to work under such conditions? I wouldn't be surprised if this showed up in the news. (This info was relayed to me by coworkers in this location.) I bet Stankey wouldn't like to work in an office that smelled, was hot, and had rats.

Try working while full throttle construction is going all around you. It did not matter where I moved on the floor the consistent hammering and ba----g the past week left most of us with headaches. People were cracking up every time I had to talk on a call and kept having to apologize as construction was going on above and below us but we are back in the office 5 days a week while other locations are not because of "construction". It is a joke.

Call OSHA. Rats can carry diseases transmissible to humans.

Rats show up in vacant buildings. Most CO lower floors/basement's are humid and need cleaning and pest control. The pest control and cleaning service does show up sometimes, I’ve seen them walking around. Maybe management ghosts also..

Same in Tustin CA call center. There are mice walking on the floor and desks of representatives. The Union doesnt do anything here.

Seriously you could (and should) code a sick day and go home, to prevent sickness. Remember worker safety comes first.

"Managers" lol.
Dead rat carcasses only stink for a week or two, depending on the humidity. After that they mummify, and don't stink any more.
Tough it out cupcake.

That's nothing. The Cincinnati office was full of cicadas this morning. Some of our "yummy third world foodie" teammates were roasting them for snacks!

Exactly what the field personnel endure all day, every day since the last 30 years.

We appreciate the Stinks new collaboration and cultural building efforts!! I might have been wrong about the SLT :)))))))))

Sad thing is it probably takes SVP permission to send people home. Then they’ll have to explain it to Stank.

The elevated floor panels are the designated rat carcass depository. Just throw them under there.

Gross. Someone should call OSHA & the local board of health. Dead rats are a health hazard.

That’s hilarious I found a dead rat in the community area between buildings in Bothell today. Still laying there hours later. Warning for the plagues to come?
