Boeing Documentary and Leadership

Go to Netflix and watch the documentary on Boeing called downfall. This was once a really great company the same as southwestern Bell and AT&T was. Then it lost its way the similarly and the pi-s poor leadership lied about what was happening and paid the consequences. It’s interesting to me as I watch the people talk about how great it used to be to work there. It reminds me of what it used to be like back in the good old days here sad but true. I guess this new survey refill that will fix that right ha ha what the f ever…..

The fate of this company is all about race. The smartest technical leaders are Indians, from India. Yet we have a Californian heading the company, from America. We will keep declining until we can get more immigrant talent at the highest levels.

Why do people always have to make the deterioration of this company about race. This is not about race. It is about bad management at the executive level. It's about trying to break into businesses that are new to us but then arrogantly thinking we know it all. It's about the MBA driven culture. MBAs are notorious for knowing everything about business but nothing about THE business. They know the cost of everything and the value of nothing. They destroyed Boeing and they are destroying AT&T.

I disagree. The company has always been a company of diversity. When I started 30 years ago, I was amazed at how diverse the company was. I can say without hesitation that this company was more diverse than most companies America at the time I started. It was a great time to work for the company. Nobody cared about color. It was about getting work done and done well.

In the old days is a racist dog whistle for back when the company didn't have any diversity. Sorry pal, times have changed. Time to change with them.

I watched the Boeing film and thought the same thing. We prefer profits over quality. We prefer EPS over motivating our employees. Good example!
