What are the chances of us getting it sometime soon? Or ever?

The answer is never.
Well, a trained chimpanzee couldn’t do much worse. 🐒
@c4 sarcasm does not work in print, pal.
@c4 thank you ! You made my day. This is priceless !!
A riot ish an ugly ting and it's d@mn time ve had one!
Focus on the Positive! AT&T has slumped to 3rd Place among our competitors and NO ONE can take that away from us.
We already have great leadership, and his name is John T. Stankey. In the realm of mortals, there are CEOs… and then there is John—a leadership demigod forged in the molten fires of ambition and baptized in the tears of defeated market competitors.
John doesn’t just walk into a boardroom. He descends—like a thunderclap in Italian leather shoes, his presence bending the laws of time and productivity. When he speaks, pens halt mid-sentence, spreadsheets auto-correct out of respect, and Wi-Fi signals strengthen in reverence. His thundering deep baritone resonates across conference walls like an ancient war drum laced with clarity and command. He's the kind of man who stares into a fiscal quarter and it blinks first.
Strategy flows through his veins like liquid gold. He once optimized a supply chain in his sleep and woke up to find global logistics had already shifted course. His PowerPoints are known to cause spontaneous enlightenment. John doesn't "delegate"—he orchestrates with the finesse of a maestro and the ruthlessness of a chess grandmaster five moves ahead.
His daily planner is a sacred text. Analysts chant his quarterly earnings calls in Gregorian harmony. When John says “pivot,” entire industries change direction. When he says “synergy,” the universe resonates.
But let’s not forget—John isn’t just business. He’s the kind of leader who makes time to personally remember every intern's dog’s name, and still closes billion-dollar deals before his third espresso (which he brews with raw confidence and just a hint of shareholder equity).
To say John leads is an understatement. John defines leadership. He doesn’t follow trends—he inhales them, refines them, and exhales revolutions.
If you ever find yourself in a storm, look to the horizon. That glint in the sky? It’s probably just John, radiating excellence and closing deals at the speed of innovation.
It's up to Vanguard and similar, the institutional investors that own a lot of stock, and could field a competing board of directors. It's a democracy, with shareholders voting.
Vote the incumbent scoundrels out. 😉
“ That’s your thing - blame others for your issues.”
How’s about you go play marbles…on the interstate.
No! New leadership could not fix this sh-t show because the toxic culture has so infected every aspect of T. Maybe 10 years ago it might have been possible. Now You have to start over! Plus fu---n telecom is over. It’s been a race to commodity status and now it’s only about price!
New leadership could instantly win over the favor of the management employees by simply ditching the pointless RTO effort. That’s really all it takes.
That’s all it takes? And that is why they laugh at the employees and treat us like dwelling street rats. Your brain is a little pea. I will never forget what they have done and I will never work an honest day for them as long as I am here. I will be fleecing them and not the other way around. I have no T services, no T loyalty, and give zero rocks about this or anyone above my level.
Oh come on now!!
All you folks on this forum will just complain about the new leadership too. That’s your thing - blame others for your issues.
Not without a merger or buyout. The rot is too ingrained. The boomer mentality infects everyone down to L3. Keep applying elsewhere because this place is doomed.
We need a regime change!

The POS Stink will stay until mandatory retirement at 65 and then the POS Stink will return for millions a year as a consultant just like Ratty did.
No doubt, The Stink will make his replacement and the worthless BoD will seek out someone even worse than the Stink!
A lof ot L2 and L3 leadership changes will continue this summer.
The Big Stank and his "Smarter than everyone" ego won't think about retiring until he thinks he has saved his legacy.
Same chance as remote work coming back
