BNY has unfortunately developed a deeply toxic workplace culture under its current CEO. The environment is driven more by profit and shareholder profits than by a genuine commitment to employee well-being or long-term values. It’s disheartening to witness a place with such a storied legacy—one that traces back to Alexander Hamilton—stray so far from its founding principles of integrity.
Should the merger with Northern Trust move forward, I sincerely hope those employees from Northern Trust can cope up with the mental atrocities at BNY. Managers who are genuinely dedicated to their teams and committed to principled work may find themselves stifled under the venomous leadership style at BNY. I truly wish them the strength and resilience to endure immoral BNY Leadership and navigate the deeply degraded BNY culture.

@a1 More Charlie and Robin than Todd.
Maybe worse yet. NT may inherit most of BNY's toxic senior management.
This culture of doo doo has sprung up and grown out of control since the current independent board of directors have been in place. Mostly in the last 6 years not the prior CEO’s. They are all Goldman tainted and indoctrinated. Go look at them and view their histories. These people are all about money for nothing and putting profit over people. They do not care about the product. Only short term profit. Little wonder that this crop of poison ivy likes that Robin has carried out their orders so much so that they appointed him the board leader. And now, like the invading aliens in ‘Independence day’ they are looking for some new organization to rob, plunder and run into the ground. NT board, if you value your clients, tradition and people, fight Robin and his Goldman mobsters all the way.

@a1 I guess, but the current CEO just runs a Mafia where people get punished for speaking truth or care for coworkers or truly care for clients
It has actually been developed by the last 3 CEO's.
