It seems like engineers were mostly spared this round - assuming it’s actually finished.

Algorithm based metrics were used to determine which people were laid off. At the end of each quarter, people who used the most indirect labor were "auto-fired".

SAS in Clifton saw about a dozen people let go. Several more are currently under review. Last ditch efforts by local leadership to prevent some more from being let go but corporate has the last word. More to know by this time next week.

Yesterday afternoon, I was told by my manager that this round of layoffs are over. But they didn’t tell him about this one before it happened, so I’m not sure if he really knows. I was told “a number of engineers” were let go. I’m at T&RF (San Diego)
