If you have you been placed on a corrective action plan (CAP) and you have never had performance problems in the past,
the company is trying to fire you to avoid paying you a severance and the 60 days notice the employer is required to
pay under the Federal WARN and State WARN Acts
Don't tolerate this type of abusive behavior. You must respond to the allegations in the CAP, in writing, with a copy to
your human resources professional. Depending on your situation, you might also file a complaint with your states
employment descrimination agency and the Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC)
