@a2 Thanks for the post. I think the guy just overdoes the act of an everyday, slice of common life man. Perhaps the over sharing of personal life anecdotes comes from that image building need. Look, big 4 consulting partners are great at connecting with clients and schmoozing them to keep the business going. They rely on worker bees, often being directed by directors/MD's, to get the actual work done. Partners don't set any vision of the work. The only vision they set is that of the sales figures. All strategy, vision etc. for work is set by directors/MD's at any of the Big 4 consulting firms. Sometimes a team of directors led by one or two MD's if the work is big enough

If he's cutting down third party contract work, then what are so many PwC people doing in data/technology?
