I’ve been here for over five years, and it feels like I’ve just been spinning my wheels. I’m burned out, tired, and fully aware that there’s no path for advancement. I know times are tough, and I don’t wish job loss on anyone who needs the paycheck, but for me, it’s time to move on. Even with the job market being what it is, there’s a breaking point we all eventually hit. I’ve reached mine.

@qh that would be 2 months plus the 10 weeks...60 days notice
you 5 year veterans, you do realize that your severance would only be 10 weeks? That's really nothing in terms of a job search.
If you want out - start searching now.
@jd is fun at parties.
Just kidding. He's never invited.
Tiiiiiiiiiiiiiime is on my side, yes it is.
What about your 401K? Don't you like adding to it each paycheck?
@ba Stop whining and do something to change your situation. It won’t happen by itself.
I was displaced in March of this year after 10 years. Found a job in six weeks. Decent pay cut but fully remote. You can’t fully realize what a horrible company WF is until you work somewhere else
What! you doing want to be a henchman for a NY shylock who gives sub 1% raises year in year out. At least do it for the experience of having 100% India co-workers who drive your wages into the ground, and getting to have 3-6am meetings M-S. Its da best.
The beatings will continue until morale improves.
Same here. 5 years and I want out so f bad. Severance would make job hunting so much easier. It's emotionally exhausting hunting for work after a day at the plantation.
I'm at the end of my career with 40 years and have worked for several companies. So, I can at least post based upon a career's experience.
I've NEVER seen a company that openly hates its employees and has total contempt for them. Never. This place has accomplished this. I've been around the block a bunch. The current environment is beyond toxic.
I don’t wish displacement on anyone at all
If you do feel this way - take your time now to aggressively be looking while on the clock. Hope you find something soon of your choice
Also, if the market gains are not illusory, that helps me for wanting a layoff bad given the soul-depleting nature of this place.
