Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Still nothing from executives about abysmal Tell Dell

Still radio silence from executives on addressing Tell Dell.

I've checked in with folks across the multiple AI teams driving revenue, and their eNPS scores were all negative.

I've been at some rough companies before, but I've never seen this level of disconnect between leadership and staff, especially when it comes to the key revenue driving parts of the business.

As of today, no Tell Dell results. Perhaps the results are so bad that they don't want to acknowledge what is going on. If you acknowledge the results, you will need to do something about the situation.

This seems to be working for me. Although I am under no illusions that I will see out my career with Dell, as I once thought.

Make friends with your manager.
Become invaluable and ensure you are not top of your manager's list of people to cull. i.e. help them tick their KPIs off and don't be seen as a moaner.
Don't train the AIs with anything useful... saleschat can go to he-l, I will continually ask it for nonsense nobody wants to really know.
If your whole team's role is in jeopardy, move to a safer one, which is not so easy for the company to replace.
Alternatively, leave and work for a growing company or someone who sells software based products, become a sheep farmer, etc.!!

Tell Dell has not been released for this year. Not sure where people are getting any scores for this year unless your manager is letting you know.

Tell Dell still high 80s and low 90s across company, but low 30s at the lowest hierachy. The numbers get better at each senior hierachy. Numbers are skewed with bunch of kiss a-s or they are management imbeciles.

We “Told Dell” but they didn’t listen. Leadership continues to massage the data in their favor. Listen to me Linda… no one gives a sh-t!

They’re laying off monthly. Tell Dell scores were terrible. Our executive management doesn’t understand why so JC sent out that “all-in” email thinking he will motivate his people. He’s a mor@n.

This is the same guy who is having people count equipment in a lab. Instead of investing in automation.

The fact that the survey results aren't out yet may mean the results were bad. As more time passes with the lack of results of the survey, the more people start to speculate about bad things. I don't know how they can run away from the results even if they are bad. They will eventually have to say something.

@ar+1jzk2fppw

The overall score dropping by over 30pts in 2 years is cataclysmic. Go ask any executive and/or HR professional.

It's OK that you don't know that, but don't just spew BS because it sounds good.

JC already commented on it...

All In!!

They dont care, and never will. Their goal is to make things as miserable as possible so people quit on their own and they then wont have to pay severance. Thats it....thats their goal.

I am not sure what people are expecting to happen. I think scores varied significantly across teams. The overall score presented to us was not that atrocious.

Told my leader I would go if they paid me off, hope to be on the August list, but she said nothing in OKC as yet.

That's likely because they plan to trim the fat with the next quarter starting in August. Happened the last time Dell scored poorly. They fired multiple tenured managers and dozens of reps. Our corporate leaders are absolute incompetent cowards who can't swallow their pride and admit they su-k

@OP

Probably gearing up for an extra round of layoffs, in hopes of culling some "negative" workers
