When I joined, around 20 years ago, there was a lavish European induction programme which included a little presentation on what it meant to be a company. The details are a little blurry because of the Belgian beer, but I seem to remember there being three pillars that defined a company.... The benefit of colleagues, shareholders, and the community. I think Darren has forgotten about two of those. I don't remember them talking of colleagues being a commodity.
