Optum side is posting RIF happening that day. Do we think same for UHC side of the house?

@5ns Did they ever send you the written notice? That seems like a huge issue if they are not sending you formal notice of last day and terms.
@5ns How does the Warn Act apply in this case? Do you work in office and are there at least 50 being laid off there? Just asking as it may be different if you are remote or if there are not enough people getting laid off, depending where you are.
If you're on any of the layoffs after the big one in April check out the labor board. It looks like I'm getting laid off in September and never got a written notice. Just notified by our managers verbally in a teams meeting. This is a violation of the Warm Act as they have to give you a 60 day notice in writing. UHC will get fined big time and also you get paid for the additional 60 days
@1mt There were layoffs 7/17 and 7/24.
Well they had layoffs today so date wrong but some occurred.

Nothing will happen today! Other than candy man will make some new selfies! The culture is not good.. everyone is waiting to jump ship!
Sending prayers
@ck me too!
I haven’t heard of anything but would hope I’m on the list.
I haven’t heard anything on uhc side- but hard to say. Maybe they are trying to winnow with the RTO first and then move on to RIFs if they don’t get enough people to quit. They definitely have to lower payroll for Medicaid and IFP business they just won’t have membership soon.
