Anyone else have a manager who ghosts the team for days but will always try to zoom with you the last hour of the day, just to make sure you hate your evening as well? At first it was just annoying but she does this all the time to many of us.

@jd report her for what exactly? Oh the horror! My manager schedules meetings during work hours. There's annoying and inconvenient, but reporting it on the chairmen's line is ridiculous. I bet you're one of the people that whined about the lack of snacks

you could just never accept the invite and no show. i am doing that to more than half of my meetings now and surprise surprise nobody cares and i am getting more done.
She's getting off on exerting control. It makes her feel good to know she has the "power" to summon you, especially at a time of day when you're looking forward to finishing up with work.
Little does she apparently recognize, that the last hour of the work day is also Happy Hour! So pour some wine into a tumbler before the Zoom meeting with her starts, and contentedly sip it during. She'll never know, and it'll probably secretly irk her that you're still "in a good mood" so late in the day!
