Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Recent employees surveys?

Was the volume of employees feedback positive?
Or no accountability since my leadership held the party line and all is well?
Prior LEC results were shared quickly to change perspective and address concerns. I don’t remember att sharing any results but, “will next years”.

CSO had a survey and the non published results were "we are moving in the right direction". Nothing to say what that means... it was horrible and now they are saying it's less horrible?

Employee: Hey Boss, What did the Company Survey tell us?
Boss: All is well. Everyone is happy.
Employee: Seriously?!?!
Boss: All is well. You can trust me. Everyone’s jobs are safe.
Employee: So we’re sc--wed.
Boss: ……..

I know many people were brutally honest. It will be interesting to see if they actually share the results and not sweep it under the rug like last year.

Only 20% of the people on our team did the surveys and they were extended until this week. Our AM just sent the people that didn’t fill out the survey an email to do it. Supposedly they’re anonymous, yet they know who did and didn’t do them. I won’t do the survey and this is 100% proof that they have never been anonymous.

Management has reviewed the results and have a plan of action to move the company forward. Hold your bellyaching a little longer.

Who cares? Changes nothing. Collect your check, go home. Only people hanging on this kind of thing are the ones that think their opinion matters and it’s the same company from back in the day. This ain’t the same company and they don’t care. It’s not going to change for the better. They are doing everything they can to get people to leave: rebadging people, making life miserable, cutting benefits, soon they are going to cut the severance. All in an effort to get rid of people. Won’t be a package, won’t be a big layoff (looks bad for the stock price), they will cut here and there constantly.
We all have some options:

  1. realize this is how it is, take the check and find happiness outside our jobs
  2. Find another job or retire.

It’s not going to get better. At least not until the current bosses are removed and that’s not happening any time soon. More than likely the next boss will be even worse.

I doubt we see this one either. Results are going to be so bad, they are going to seeep it under the rug best they can.
