It's obvious now. They are reducing the headcount to reduce expenses. The products are still there to be acquired by a big player like Visa.
When more value is placed on ex consultants with zero real world experience over those that are tenured, tested and tenacious. The result will become apparent, but will create such a vacuum of exiting talent, it will be irreparable. What’s not being planed for is the talent magnet impact. When good people are pushed out, and succeed in their next chapter, who do you think they will draft? Talent follows talent. It will take time for the current to settle, however once it does, regret and repair will be all that is left. McKinsey can’t fix stupid.
