Just got word in D9 the company is looking to reduce 5 splicing techs in the Auburn/Placerville area. I was also informed the company is reducing 3 splicing techs in Sacramento. Talks with the union start next week with techs off the books by the end of August.
D9 just likes to start rumors…

There's a union rumor that 2 years pay is being offered to leave the company on the east coast. Anyone else hear this rumor or is it just that?

Sure would be nice if the company honored the previous offers given a few years ago of 103 weeks & 50k. They would get many more Techs to except that offer.

We just lost 2 from our crew to the enhanced severance offer. I guess the one year of pay plus $50K is "fake news".
Go RTO, put in 8 hours, quit crying and leave adults alone.
