How does the split impact the 401k?

@11b Uh… they have the legal right to change terms of match and salary for that matter at any time they want. Based on your statement we will get .. nothing.
Mind you they already do match in company stock. Which is just like money… only not as useful and likely to loose value instantly. I can’t even track if they paid out correctly.
They will give you whatever you are legally eligible for, no need to speculate.
We were told that if spin occurs before 15dec, we will still recieve the amount, but to still retain the HON 401k until the match is delivered, then roll it over into new company
I wouldn’t doubt it. So they don’t have to match anybody’s 401(k), don’t they have to make an official announcement.
Under the current policy, Aero employees would not get a 2026 match (given in Jan 2027) since they would no longer be employed by HW on 12/15/2026 (assuming split happens before then). This could easily be resolved by returning to a match each paycheck.
