It's in the handbook.
The notice period is 60 days and some are working, some not, some both. Take the date notice ends, subtract the date you started, FULL YEAR needs to be calculated
if 1 day to 4 years 11 months and 30 days (assuming a 31 day month), then you get 8 weeks
if 5 years to 25 years, then you get 2 weeks per year
If 26+ years then you get 52 weeks
@e3 I think it depends on the state. You should file anyway, but disclose the severance.
@b0 Do we forego unemployment if we agree to the severance? I thought unemployment is paid by former employer and therefore assumed you aren’t eligible if received severance. At least in my state
@OP plus the 2 months (8 weeks) of notice. So you have 22 weeks, .42 years, of paid leave.
7 days. Unless a low performer.
Kick in the sack
Yeah 2mo work or non working notice, PTO accrual payout, 2 weeks per yr severance. Also apply for unemployment right after the 2 month notice period, people shouldn't wait on that.
Plus 2 months of working or non-working notice.
Math is hard.
14 weeks plus any unused PTO.
