Remember when Verizon swooped in and poached a bunch of AT&T folks right after the RTO announcement? They played off all that dissatisfaction, and it worked. That was just a few months ago. Now imagine being one of the people who actually took them up on it… This would be funny if it weren’t so damn sad.

I am one of those people. I’m fine with 3 days. Still better than 5. RTO isn’t even that bad.
Verizon didn't hire any former AT&T employees. This was simply a PR stunt that allowed Verizon HR to get some headlines.

Not exactly the same thing. Verizon is 3 days per week. AT&T is 5 days per week, and they require you to badge in and out. If you're not there 6 hours, it doesn't count as an in-office day.
AT&T laid off alot of people and some ended up in Verizon. I don’t feel sad for those who joined Verizon. Job market is tough these days
