Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Arnoldi town hall

The online questions were so blunt that they only answered one. Obviously they hate us, but it’s so crazy to see it so plainly.

“ Hi Jeremy. I don’t like it and I don’t have to leave. That’s the best part about it. I can collect a paycheck, badmouth the company, hate your guts, do a cr-ppy job and still come here and post about what a skinny, dork chicken leg you are.”

This entirely. Until I find something better or get laid off, guess I’m still going to be here. Job market is beyond terrible right now. So stop the games and rip the bandaid off already and let’s move forward. This all is just hurting the companies bottom line either way. Happy employees = higher profits. This has been proven over and over.

“Yall are like an ex that keeps stalking an old love hoping they'll come back and everything will be just like it was when you first met.
T is so over you! How many times do they have to say "If you don't like it, leave!" for you to get it!”

"I wasn’t able to join the webcast. Was there anything of interest presented?"

Mostly spent time explaining how great things are going and then each quarterly earnings report we are reminded of how bad things continue to go for business. No, you didn't miss much.

She was conceived in the eye of a secret, and they scattered the afterbirth!

“I wasn’t able to join the webcast. Was there anything of interest presented?”

Same old cackling witch voice, barely able to speak a sentence without shifting into that creepy, tinny, voice that sounds like she’s about to turn you into a toad. She is well rehearsed with canned tunafish statements. Anecdotes arrive on cue to remind the room that she’s just a cackling witch head with nothing of substance. In between town halls she roams the halls of corporate, sniffing for her next role, collecting her paycheck like a good little stooge.

Just keep making them uncomfortable. Eventually they will just lash out and say what they really thing (see McElfresh’s comments) with is a bad look or they will eventually change the direction.

They know they’re losing the upper hand now. Don’t let up.

I wish this were true, but all evidence is to the contrary. Other companies are falling into line probably under pressure from activist investors with CRE interests.
