Wow. The seething tone coming from the email couldn’t have been more apparent. Customers will not be properly cared for when your employee’s morale is this low. Instead of addressing the issues employee’s expressed, specifically following “market norms” (Verizon is 3 days!) you’ve doubled down.

I'm sure our wonderful head of HR played a huge role in this note. The worst.
Someone please post the email that you're discussing here. I'm not an AT&T employee, but just curious about the exact text. I find these discussions fascinating. Thank you.
John’s message in a nutshell:
- Don’t like it, leave
- You are the problem not me
- Don’t care, get out.
This is nuclear scale black & white thinking.
Does no one remember his speech years ago: “What is more important? Employees or customers? It’s not the employees that are important, it’s the customers. Without customers we have no need for employees.”
It does make sense on a purely psychopathic level, but the comment about employee’s morale directly affecting the “much more important customers” was well stated.
Maybe AI can take care of that morale problem? It’s Friday afternoon and IDGAF! LFGooooo!!
WSJ literally just wrote about Verizon hiking their requirement to 3 days! They need to see this email!

No one proofreads the Stank's emails. Everything that he emits is perfect the first time. If you don't believe me, just ask the Stank yourself if he has the time to acknowledge your presence.
"Very disappointed that the man, in charge of our company and moral, has single handedly caused the discourse."
You forgot he also f'd up this company's finances along the way with having a KEY seat at the table for DTV and TW decisions. Let's also not forget gifting us with the now #1 compeititor in the market in T-Mobile. He wants us to think he played no role and disagreed but it's a flat out lie. He's done all that damage and destroyed the morale of the company. What a horrible human being and business man.
John’s reply was simply “ It’s you who are all misaligned” not me!!
Very disappointed that the man, in charge of our company and moral, has single handedly caused the discourse.
Just floored with his lack of understanding. He really is not a good fit for the title he holds.
This place will remain a joke and work will suffer as a result until major changes are made at the top. People are not happy. It’s obvious they don’t care because they don’t face the same issues we do, but goodness that was so embarrassing he actually sent that out.
His tone made me think we are living in/working as in the series Severance. Let me tell you how your thinking is wrong, listen to what I say, ignore your own thoughts and opinions. Stank, Stank, Stunk!
