Bottom line: you will feel better if you bail on your own terms unless you’re hanging for severance. Regardless, spruce up that resume, stop feeling sorry for yourself we all work for the same Satan, cause we literally do. If you have to take a pay cut ask yourself are the hours required the same or significantly less than what is expected of you now, no one will expect your eternal life, as Optum does. In the southeast there is a “man of God” who utterly refuses to help, or to be any form of a servant leader, I’m not in his state and thank God, just heard of it, news travels quickly. Apparently literally refuses to do visits, with massive pressure for PDVs, skeleton crew. Refusing even UVs just to “assist” his remaining 2-3 employees, admittedly he will likely be RIF’d soon with so few employees, and those employees will likely not remember his help especially well. These managers who refuse to get off their high horses or their butts when there are zero staff and who have delusions of grandeur, ie promotions to the yacht level of Optum, will be sadly mistaken. They are helping NOTHING, I can remember when patients came first not meetings or dou--ebaggery, someone needs to remind them of these things, perhaps they won’t lose personnel so quickly, cause staff is dropping like flies, although if their staff is smart, they SHOULD be looking, or perhaps, Optum will just shut the whole thing down, and perhaps will
