Why is AT&T spending unnecessary money to update the Orlando HUB? Are we going to be inundated with over population of employees? We were told during a meeting that we were the hub and that other offices are closing, and coming into Orlando. that worries me. Orlando Has three floors, which probably can hold 200 people per floor, but will be crowded. What are your thoughts on all this?

Stankey: People In the sunshine state are not quitting fast enough. So what is the worst place in Florida?
McElfresh: Probably Orlando.
Stankey: Right - make that the new hub. Deploy the CRE team to create our standard office footprint. Yeah- the one inspired by the Saw movies. Tell everyone in Miami they have to move - that should do it.
Never heard about Orlando being a hub
Nor Charlotte and they are requiring new hiring to be there in CEO separate from the rest of CEO and in a separate location that their managers. Just proves this bllsht about too many locations and everyone being together is the way we "win". In truth, Charlotte is there because all of Baich's direct reports have living connections to Charlotte--nothing more. People fired for not moving to a hub. Baich creates a hub for his reports because they want to be in Charlotte.
We are a holding company. We are updating it to sell it to our own subsidiary for a loss. Then we will lease it back to ourselves to show a loss for the lease. Once it is at full occupancy, we will sell it again at a loss to the 3rd party investment firm that we gave all our assets away to for pennies on the dollars. for another loss.
Making Orlando a hub would be a micky mouse decision
If you think the floors can hold 200 people on them, then expect to have 300 people on each floor.
AT&T being sold to Disney. We already have a clown as CEO, so why not let a mouse and a deranged duck be at the helm?
