“ We’re living the Orwell dream.”
More like a nightmare.
Idiocracy
I hate my life.
I smoked at my desk in ‘84.
I want my desktop computer & landline phone back because I sure the he-l am not working a minute over 8 hours outside the office.
I'm sick of carrying my office in a backpack.
You had your own desk in 1984.
@b9 This is the d-mbest argument and laziest statement being thrown around on here. You are high if you don't know the job market is rough and pretty much has been all of 2025. I don't know anyone that's trying to stay here unless they've got significant financial reasons. Most want out, are looking to get out, talking to recruiters and their network, but it's taking much longer than any of us hoped. So, spare me with the "yet you stay" cr-p.
Remember playing that old 6 string, back in the summer of 1969.
We’re living the Orwell dream.
Even 1999 was MUCH better than 2025 Stankey era office situation
Nah. 1984 were the good old days.
Party like it's 1999....5 days a week in an overcrowded office.
At AT&T or America or Both?
Yup. Except it’s much worse than that in reality.
