Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

The Administration would not be pleased

To know ATT is laying off Americans and replacing them with workers overseas.

T has criticized India for their large purchases of oil from Russia and hit them with a large tariff.

The OBBB has given this company a tax windfall of several billions of dollars.

What is Stankey’s response?

Sp-t in face n the face of President T…

T needs to be aware of what is going on so he can sm--k the pi-s out of the Stank.

“Going to the office to sit on Teams conference calls, answer emails, Teams messages and do my role (reports, access tools, manage requests and other things) is a lot of extra unnecessary steps. There is no value add.”

You should be interacting with your local coworkers. They are also
Part of your larger team.

401k is going up like a rocket ship, already over 8.5% for the year. Ugh - tariffs, fuel, egg prices are ki-ling me, please make it stop. 🤣 now that the real job numbers are in, the fed doesn’t have anymore excuses to not cut interest rates, old too late Powell.

“I don’t understand why getting up and going to work is such an issue?”

Simple answer and let’s put this to bed once and for all; because I don’t have to be there to do my job, it’s unnecessary. Going to the office to sit on Teams conference calls, answer emails, Teams messages and do my role (reports, access tools, manage requests and other things) is a lot of extra unnecessary steps. There is no value add. There is no in person collaboration. It is pointless. It serves no purpose other than to make us miserable so we will quit.

“I don’t understand why getting up and going to work is such an issue?”

Some employees don’t want to work.

“I don’t understand why getting up and going to work is such an issue?”

Your lack of understanding expands much further than this.

India doesn't care. They are not taking your dear leader very seriously. Ditto with China. Orange man wanted to talk with Xi really badly, but Xi is not blinking. Your man is the last one in the world to figure out that Putin was never serous & has been poking fun all along...

The net result of Trump's d-mb tariff policy will be more offshoring, outsourcing, higher prices and fewer jobs. Last week's jobs report is just a curtain raiser.

I love how Stankey says we need in person collaboration during common hours but many jobs are posted for India only.

It’s political because our President has given this company a tax break that will benefit it in the tune of several billions of dollars.

That same president has made it clear he’s an America first president. Promoting hiring Americans inside of America.

ATT has sent thousands of jobs to a country the President just punished for buying Russian oil.

Should T not be punished for enriching our adversaries while receiving preferential tax breaks?

I think so!

Why does making someone come to the office have to be political? I don’t understand why getting up and going to work is such an issue?
