@ha He pushed many good people in the back of the line in favor of his buddies. What goes around comes around JR.

Wouldn’t you also?
When Choy moved and Robert Walter’s was promoted, it was the last straw for JR.
Good riddance
he was promoted by the same exec from L2 to VP never had to move.
he couldn’t get promoted again without help from the former EVPs Hague or Sambar. He knew the gig was up. took care of some folks before he left though… they won’t see money like that again. so essentially his favorites will see a well deserved pay cut and maybe some hard working deserving people will get fair compensation. so glad he’s gone.
@c7 all the tower deals are so corrupt it makes it hard for C&E to work. I think the new people they put in charge (not his cronies) will do their best to clean it up and make it right.
he took care of his boys but now those cronies have to work for a living. this should be interesting.
He was terrible. Constantly stole others ideas and passed them off as his own. Poor leader. Glad he's gone.
MONEY.....Plain and simple.
because he was smart?
If you worked with him at all you could tell he was checked out after the Sambar fiasco
ATT has the same old folks leading organizations that they don’t even know what they do. You spend more time teaching and catching up instead of creating products.
I like space
He’s been vocal about the potential of AST’s technology, especially its high-capacity satellites, which he likened to launching “school buses” compared to other providers’ “Mini Coopers”. His enthusiasm and leadership in this space suggest that his involvement with AST is part of AT&T’s broader strategy, not a personal career move away from the company.
If you have to ask why anyone would leave AT&T at this point I think you need to seek medical intervention, as you may be suffering from lead poisoning or early onset dementia.
