I have been here almost 3 months now. When will I be able to take my pension and leave? Do I have to stay a year?

Not true. Gen X'ers as well. Virtually anyone that was with a baby Bell before the merger has pension. I hit my bump a couple months before I left. Was full time teleworker WAAAAY before COVID and had to do the RTO dance until I got past the bump. Now making six digits full time teleworker for a competitor. T's a sinking ship under the current management. Silent quit until you get an offer and run.
How come y’all sto pid mans
John Stankey said you call him to share part of his !
Management is 401k only. Union gets both.
Someone's confusing pension versus 401k ENTIRELY different things.
@at Even if there are, none of them are vested at 3 months.
OP, there is no "reward" for keeping a job 3 months. Lazy mf.
sorry dude, no pension for you!
5 years continuous service for fully vested in pension.
I think there are craft who are still offered some kind of "pension." Check your contract, or ask your steward, or call HR.
If you were hired after 2017, you do not get a pension
Only Boomers have a pension at T.
You don’t have a pension.
But if you did, you’d want to look up the word “vested” and then you’d find out when you become fully “vested”.
I don’t think they give pensions to new employees anymore. Perhaps theirs know differently.
