so how many times does this make? a couple hundred million for the mexico and philipine call centers stealing customer info and ssn's. the earlier hack and this one. ge-z youd think these mo--ns would learn.
If you are a current employee and decide to participate in the suit, if AT&T leaders see you as one of the recipients that are paid a portion of the settlement, how long do you think you will remain an employee?

I had received two (2) Emails (Aug 14 and 15) related to the data breaches.
The first email applied me as an AT&T - 2 Data Element Breach.
The second email followed up later and applied to me as being involved in BOTH an AT&T - 1 and AT&T - 2 Data Element Breach.
The Emails listed my name with an associated Class Member IDs for each.
Since I was listed in BOTH, I am classified as an OVERLAP Class member and will use that Class Member ID on filing my claim.
UPDATED Information:
I have received two (2) Emails (Aug 14 and 15) related to the data breaches with links to the official WEB site to file a claim. It would appear that data sets (Phone number, call records, and Social Security numbers) may have been compromised.
These are Classified as Tier 1 and/or Tier 2 (Two Different breaches)
The Email listed my name with an associated Class Member ID.
Settlement Class Members are eligible for either a Documented Loss Cash Payment or a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Cash Payment as follows:
Documented Loss Cash Payment
Each AT&T Settlement Class Member may submit a Claim for a Documented Loss Cash Payment of up to $5,000 for losses that occurred in 2019 or later, upon presentation of documentation that the losses are fairly traceable to the AT&T 1 Data Incident
OR
Tier Cash Payment – As an alternative to a Documented Loss Cash Payment, each AT&T Settlement Class Member may submit a Claim for a Tier Cash Payment. A Tier Cash Payment is a pro rata share of the AT&T Net Settlement Fund cash (the funds left after payment of Settlement Administration Costs, Attorneys’ Fees, Costs, and Service Awards).
There are two types of Tier Cash Payments (Tier 1 Cash Payment and Tier 2 Cash Payment) and your eligibility for one or the other is based on whether you are a Tier 1 Settlement Class Member or a Tier 2 Settlement Class Member.
Will plan on submitting my claim for a Tier Cash Payment for both Tiers.
If you have NOT Received an email soon, you probably are not impacted.

1 billion extra to spend because of policy changes - 177 million penalty. Doing my Jethro math it doesn’t seem like a bad trade off.

I am guessing it will be more like $7.50 than $7500. Lawyers always get the biggest payout on these things.
Current T employee here..I have been playing wack a mole with credit card companies since this has happened. What are the chances??? Other than that not sure else I can show my “loyalty” to wonderful establishment…

Just be aware you must show evidence that the breach impacted you directly in some way (Financially, etc.)
