If there really are just layoffs in place of firing people. Hopefully I’ll be safe for this rumored layoff

I was laid off before and rehired, I submitted a complaint to the chairman’s line recently so I’m very concerned about being laid off again.
the closer you are to the trenches (day to day operations & incidents) the better during cuts. - support & platforms
Sorry I was snarky. It's the chapter and squad lead's fault then if the squad members feel uneasy about layoff. Your squad could be busy spinning wasting cycles, or busy duplicating what's already available elsewhere. What we're building actually put several areas in such danger.
I didn’t say I wasn’t working. My team has hyper focused micromanagement and it’s new, it’s concerning to me.
Folks on our squad are all busy building things, the fear of being laid off never crosses our minds. If you're not contributing, sure, make a wish is all you can do now.
White male staff, particularly those with tenure (if there are any remaining) are usually the target if that helps.
