I am starting to think about my options just in case there are more layoffs before the year ends. Nothing is confirmed, but it feels smart to be ready. Watching the news and updates closely while figuring out a backup plan is the only way to feel a little in control.

Start preparing resume, base cover letter. So many good resources and advice available online nowadays. Start casually looking up jobs on LinkedIn and specialist sites for your industry, start getting excited in your mind of new opportunities and most of all DONT procrastinate! Even send a few applications if just to get some interview practice in and get back into the flow. I don't know one person who went backwards leaving Honeywell if that helps, heck some went on earn double and more!
Plan to get canned. Unless you are a veteran.
