College Hire Fast Track Program

If anyone is taking the jobs that is WHO is taking them!!!! Stop blaming everyone else. They won’t even let current employees that got college degree while working into the program. That is Ageism at its best. While a LOT of people are getting surplused. I see a LARGE amount of New VERY young faces. As they advance quickly. They layoff those that have been dedicated. It’s not the outsourcing you have to worry about

@ka would it make sense to add our CEO’s letter to employees and now public ridicule?

Guy. Don’t worry. Leadership knows what it’s doing… like TMobile merger, Directv Merger, Warner Merger, Digital Life, ISIS, wireless home phone! They got this!

@bc I agree and sick of how often and quickly as managers close to retirement you are than targeted to save money to award suits.

I’m career military both enlisted and officer mentored combined with leadership academics and countless opportunities to be developed from all this. I had a conversation with the director from HR who’s bell shaped head honestly believe MA bell has a better program as we observe above. I can’t blame her for her bias but sadly saw there was no changing her mind or even be open to consider such and laughable reminded me she out ranked me . To be short I observed our toxic self centered managers have little concept besides a slide what leaders are. They have been conditioned to always say yes to bad decisions, mask problems cause it’s easier and, never ever challenge authority and speak the truth. Sad sad. Sad

@bc Seen and heard this movie before. It’s funny how leadership keeps trying to bring in new blood and then 6 months later they are like f this…I am out. We had a whole sales center depleted of great talent and replaced with @ 20 college hires they all quit and vp force to hire a bunch of retreads from ws/lumen/comcast/spectrum/verizon…you can only imagine how that ended up.

I’ve met and been assigned to mentor a few of these fast track wonder boys years ago. They all have fresh ideas which ignore the realities and become great yes man for our needy superiors and, all have left once they see how disjointed our organizations are with its own priorities and see first hand our employer continually c r a p on current employees from lessor benefits firing peers months from retirement and clowns making decisions.

I never understood why they didn’t take existing employees and let them qualify for the program. Those would be some of the most dedicated and knowledgeable people to have. There really should be a program for those with the aptitude and skills to get into something like the TDP program. Right now there is nothing.

At least those entitled millenials aren't on Costco runs, doing laundry, or watching TV! Hours wasted in-office is way different than hours wasted remote!

@OP The young g-ns coupled with outsourcing is a synergistic recipe for disaster…nothing getting done…most everything is kicking can down the road and customers are paying the price. I recently had a chance to visit the mothership in Dallas and was astounded at the lack of work going on. Most everyone playing graba-s and lounging in their chairs, good luck getting a timely response from there. But great to see everyone back in the office!

Just remember, a new college hire isn't going to see that what they are doing is the same stuff that has been done. They'll drink the kool-aid and be more energetic about it. Their recycled programs won't be any more effective.
