I am agency in PD. Luckily no furlough for me. Yet. Never have been furloughed over the holidays.
I don't understand what's is wrong with Ford.
50k cars and can't make money!!
What kind of management you have? Is your disengagement at 87.7%?
They do layoffs every year for agency at this time…if I remember correctly it was Dec. 9th last year. At least it is only 2 weeks and not a permanent layoff. Agency folks, do yourself a favor and exit stage left…it’s much better on the other side.
Agree this in of itself doesn’t sound too bad. This has literally been going on for years in some skill areas.
Meanwhile , Ford is so despite for help I get calls & emails at least twice a week from contract agency houses.looking for people with ‘automotive’ experience. They know full well those former Ford employees that were SISP can’t go back, but they still will submit you anyway. I’m calling it here and now - like the past great pharaoh, they will speak the name s they banned to be spoken last year and start to allow former employees to come back. You will see this in 2023 as they get more desperate.
...meanwhile your favorite leaders will make millions and filling up their pockets and enjoying their holiday
If it is only 2 weeks, that sounds normal. Each Christmas break they are given the option of working, if possible, job specific, or taking vacation pay along with holiday pay.
I’m an Agency Employees. Furloughed Dec 16 to Jan 3
@ubi...are you purchased services or agency?
Financials for 2022 look terrible, planning for the 2023 press releases on what we are doing about it.
I hope the data and subscription sales team is working though the holidays to prop things up.
Got the official news. 19th to Jan 3 I would be furloughed. Here goes my Happy Christmas and new year.
