@12h some trash can be treasure if you put it in the right place, vice versa. So reorganisation is the reoptimization.

It’s even HDD itself haven’t completely integrated, why they think SanDisk can be integrated. Current stock market prove that split is the right choice. HDD/ head/media all managed separately from legacy of old WD and HGST. Lot of redundant roles have to be optimised.
