Dell will layoff over 50% of its Americas Field Services(Field Customer Service)in Jan/Feb timeframe. Why? Because over half of their workload called IMAC(New Installs/upgrades) is being pulled away from that division. This started in phase approach in Nov and completes in Feb. There were already some layoffs in Nov but big one is coming early ‘23. What’s left of that division will only be break/fix type work.

My EMC days were the best!!
Sad to see this happening to such a great section of Dell. Under EMC CE's/FSE with treated with high regard. Under Dell they really are under valued.

Fun times coming. Dell is a bloated VP and Sales Folks and other functions. Time to trim the fat
I think Break/Fix is the next thing to go to Unisys. I believe we will see a majority of the FSE’s if not all sold to Unisys.
